Challenge
What we were solving.
Quanta's risk team relied on overnight batch reports to make decisions, leaving them 18 hours behind the market. When events happened during the trading day, the team had no way to surface exposure to the executive committee in real time.
Solution
What we built.
We built a real-time risk dashboard that ingests trade and market events as they happen, runs stress scenarios on a streaming basis, and surfaces exposure changes to risk officers via Slack and an interactive web console.
The system handles 12,000 events per second with sub-second latency.
Results
What changed.
Risk visibility latency reduced from 18 hours to under 1 second
Stress scenarios run on every trade instead of overnight
Executive committee makes decisions 30 minutes faster on incident days
Regulator feedback cited the platform as a model for the industry
