What we were solving.

Northwind Health's 14 hospitals ran on six different EHR systems with no unified view of patient risk. Clinicians were spending up to 40 minutes per shift reconciling records by hand, and the executive team had no real-time visibility into clinical risk across the network.

Solution

What we built.

We designed and built a clinical decision support platform that ingests HL7 v2 and FHIR R4 feeds from all six EHRs, normalises them into a single patient timeline, and surfaces risk scores in the clinician's workflow via SMART-on-FHIR launch.

The platform runs on a HIPAA-compliant AWS landing zone with full PHI encryption, audit logging, and SOC 2 Type II controls.

Clinician reconciliation time reduced from 40 minutes to 4 minutes per shift

Risk score accuracy validated at 92% against a held-out clinical cohort
